Hello, friends and happy Friday! I have done ZERO Christmas shopping up until this point, and I certainly need to kick things into high gear this weekend. I have honestly never been too much of a shopper, but now that Amazon Prime is in existence, I suddenly love to shop. It is very easy for me to shop for my mom because we love the same things, but I struggle finding the right presents for friends and extended family. Each year I am always on the quest to find the perfect gift for everyone. I would much rather plan out which gifts I am going to buy, read the reviews, compare similar products, and then decide to buy something. I also love being able to do it from home instead of fighting the crowds. All of the gifts listed below are Amazon Prime items, but I am sure that you can easily find any of the items at your local mall if you want to venture out into the crazy Christmas traffic world.
- Essential Oil Diffuser
I previously blogged about my love for essential oil diffusers and I am still currently obsessed with mine. The light mist of water mixed with the essential oils sets such a wonderful atmosphere in our home. I love experimenting with different oils and researching the health benefits that different oils have on your body & mind. My current favorite mix is three drops of eucalyptus and three drops of peppermint oil. This mix is great for headaches as well as stress relief. This diffuser is currently on sale and would look wonderful in anyone’s home.
- Dutch Oven
Dutch ovens are a perfect gift for any home chef in your life. They are extremely durable and will last forever. This version from Cuisinart has a lifetime warranty! I have the cardinal red dutch oven and love using it to make roasts & stews. The dutch oven is made out of enameled cast iron, so the heat distribution while you are cooking is perfectly even. If you are shopping for someone who loves to cook, I promise you that they will love a dutch oven.
- Lounge Pants
Every woman loves a great pair of lounge pants. I think it takes all of 10 minutes once I get home at the end of the day to change into something more comfy. These lounge pants by Danskin are SUPER comfy. I have them the teal and grey and will have to get the magenta. They hold up great in the wash and are perfectly warm to sleep in. The pockets are deep enough to hold my phone while I am walking the dog which is a huge plus in my book.
This gift is a little more pricey but it is honestly one of the best small kitchen appliances I have ever owned. The Compact Juicer by Breville is perfect for juicing fresh fruits and vegetables. People tend to shy away from juicers because they do not want to deal with the clean up and aren’t sure if they benefits outweigh the hassle. This juicer is very easy to clean because you can throw all of the parts in the dishwasher. Juicers have come a long way since they first came out and this model is a wonderful value for such high quality. I replace a few meals each week with a fresh vegetable juice and immediately notice the benefits from increased energy, my skin staying clear, and not having an overall feeling of fullness. I love juicing and urge you to try this juicer!
- Comfy Throw Blanket
Everyone loves a warm throw blanket that they can cozy up with on the couch or in bed. This throw blanket by Northpoint is so incredibly soft! I purchased one a few months ago and TJ and I call it the “butter blanket” because it feels like butter on your skin. The blanket is very affordable and comes in a variety of colors. I have washed the blanket almost every week and it still feels like the first day I got it.
- Outdoor Speakers
Outdoor speakers are the perfect gift for any member of your family. These rock speakers from Theater Solutions are completely weatherproof and sound great outside. I was very surprised at the quality of sound that these speakers put out. I love the fact that they can hide on the ground to create ambiance outside without clunky speakers being visible. Your dad or brother would really appreciate these speakers while they are outside!
Hopefully all of your aren’t as behind on your holiday shopping as I am!
